2-1-2002 ART OV LOB
TIF founder, LOB, has a sculpture/assemblege piece in a group show called "Centered on the Center 2002" in Huntington Beach,CA. at the Huntington Beach Art Center. This show is an annual "open call" show featuring tons of artists from all over Orange County. This will be Lob' s third appearance in the Centered on The Center show in as many years. Lob's piece is an assmblege of a butterfly made from 7" (45rpm) records,Cassette, & Compact Discs. This is the 2nd butterfly that Lob has assembled from old records. A much larger one, with over a 6 foot wing span, made entirely from vinyl records, was shown in a solo show in Pheonix,AZ early last year. This show in Huntington Beach opens on Saturday Feb. 2 , and shows thru Feb 24th.
