HEARTS FOR KATRINA was done in September 2005 by LOB, to be included as part of the PROJECT HeART Benefit art project. (see below). Thee Instagon Foundation is offering a limited edition of 23 framed, signed, and numbered prints, original size, ov this piece. ALL proceeds will go to Charities helping Artists and Musicians that were affected by this enormous tragedy. Also.. A few other bands, songwriters, and poets performed as well. We raised nearly $900 with this event. Instagon did a noise based ambient performance featuring LOB, Pat Mabie (from Delayed Sleep), and one creepy old turntable. An artist named Brandon from Corona,CA started a project called PROJECT HeART, and he asked for artists to submit 4x6" pieces of art with the focus being a "heart", any format could be used, as long as it included the "heart" and was 4x6". The collected art pieces are to be auctioned off as one entire collection, and the proceeds will go to Hurricane Katrina Relief efforts of the Red Cross.
