Fairy Tale Moon
Take me mid-meadow under fairy tale moon.
Make crop circles like aliens in heat.
Cicadas sing reels and jigs near our ears;
cacophony cornucopia as grasses rustle.
Your breath rises as dragonflies flit overhead.
Faeries carry my whispered pleas to the courts of toad kings.
The ring in your ear glints silver by the cool light.
Relax beauty for it's only a fairy tale moon.
