NEW RELEASES: 2 CDs, 1 DVD
1. an Instagon track recorded at NF2007 appears on the NF08 Compilation CD called "Your Feedback is Appriciated". The track is called "Funeral for a Droid (eulogy)"...this CD is now available thur NF ORG
2.Instagon show #460, in its entirety, appears on the new TIF release "AUDIO ROADKILL, volume 1", this show was recorded in late 2007 at the Lccal Musicans Union 6, in San Francisco. A very short segment of this show is what appears on the 13 Second Compilation that was released earlier this year on Ratskin Records.
This release is limited to 100 copies. This release is available thru TIFand Lob directly.
3. Instagon appears in the film "NORCAL NOISEFEST 2007, the movie", a film by Chad E. WIllams of Sacramento. This DVD is available thru NF ORG and TIF.

September 2008
The TOPY CONFERENCE has been canceled, and we will not be appearing there obviously.

The 10 Second compilation we mentioned last month is NOW AVAILABLE thru KIF RECORS., Instagon has 4 tracks on this comp.

Audio Roadkill,. volume one.. will be released by TIF some time in the next few months and will feature a fresh noise track from Instagon, plus cuts from WYRM, DOG, and CJ BOROSQUE, with cover art photography by Lob.

NEW RELEASES:
Instagon has a track available on the compilation "(TRISKAIDEKAPHOBIA) 13,000.00 MilliSeconds..." released by Ratskin Records out of San Francisco. The track was taken from show #460. This release is limited to 900 copies.

4 new 10 second tracks will be on the new "10 Second Compilation - 3" coming soon from KIF Records out of Poland. Instagon was also part of a short Remix project that was done in conjuction with this compilation called "The Fastest Compilation Remix In The World" and is available for DOWLOAD NOW.

The track "Thee Handjob" will appear on the upcoming ASS JAZZ Volume 2 collection from Pet Goat Records.

and lastly the NEW STUDIO ALBUM has been completed!! The mixing is done, the art work is being layed out, and now its looking for a home. The new album is called "DEAMON ROCK" and was recorded last summer at KDVS in Studio A. .. it rocks!

2 new releases are planned in the LIVE FREE JAZZ series: Live at Del Paso Works...recorded about 2 years back.. and Live At True Love, recorded recenly at the In The Flow festival. .. also the SPACE YOUR FACE project has started too..a live collection... of songs and special recordings.. more news on all of that sometime in the future.

July 2008
Instagon did NOT win the 2008 Experimenal/Other SAMMIE Award. The winner was Alak, Alas, Alaska, & congrats to them.

June 2008
Instagon will appear at the "In The Flow" new jazz & experimental music festival in Sacramento,CA in early August.

Spring 2008
Instagon has been nominated for a SAMMIE award. A Sacramento Area Music Award (Sammie) seems to be something special..maybe we will wll.. who knows.. they announced the winners on july 17. more info at www.sammies.com.


"Beautiful"
a split CD with Instagon and C.J. BOROSQUE has been released by Edgetone Records out of San Francisco,CA. It features a set recorded in SF in Janurary 2007 at the Luggage Store Gallery.
