weep now for the passing of friends
as it will happen, until time ends.
change claims one and all 
and life seems so small
when a loved one to death it sends..

smile..it's a wonderous thing
it compares only to birds when they sing.
to make the heart lift
it's a perfect gift
for the comman man or for a king..

Billy's clubhouse had a broken door
it was lying in mud on the floor
he repainted it orange
and installed a new door hinge,
and the door was as good as before

if in today lived Tutankamen
do you think he would eat Top Ramen?
I would like it that way
because then I could say 
the boy king and I had something in common.

"What are we going to do today?"
said Pinky to Brain last May
and tired, Brain said
with thoughts of sleep in his head
"Nothing Pinky, you can go out and play.."

and Pinky yelled and hollered "Hooray"
as he scampered out of the lab to play
and Brain slipped off for a nap
in his best thinking cap
and dreamed of taking over the world one day..
