WORD THING WAS last seen as an open mic/poetry reading
every Monday, starting at about 9:00 PM, at The Liquid Den in Huntington Beach,
CA (directions and map). There
was always an open mic reading and usually at least one feature
(invited, noteworthy, acclaimed poet), maybe two..
There was no cover charge for the reading, BUT we asked that you support the venue and BUY a beer, soda, water, some sort of beverage..and that you TIP our poets or buy some of thier merchandise.
